DEBT RECOVERY OFFICER

  • Continuous follow up after initial contact with the customer to constantly remind customers of their obligation on repayment on their various financing taken with our clients.
  • Issuing appropriate notices to the customers requiring clearing of arrears or warning of potential legal action by our clients.
  • Managing customers account with professionalism and courteous handling.
  • To avoid any complaints from customers.
  • Engaging and investigating customer’s latest contact details through ‘Market Intelligence Search’.
  • Following up on legal cases as and when instructed by  clients.
  • Identifying and classifying cases and where necessary recommending to abort files.
  • Negotiating and restructuring of accounts as and where such actions are required.
  • Ensuring that restructuring is done accordingly to set guidelines and approval from our clients without prejudicing original agreement and securities.
  • Keeping our collection records accurate and updated information and updating remarks on every call made to stakeholders.
  • To fully abide with the governing laws and policy of the Malaysian Government and Bank Negara Malaysia especially on the following: –
    • The Financial Services Act 2013 (FSA) – BNM
    • Islamic Financial Services Act 2013 (IFSA) – BNM
    • Personal Data Protection Act 2010 – BNM
    • Prohibited Business Conduct (Issued NOV 2014) – BNM.
    • Fair Debt Collection Practices.
    • Any other related Malaysian laws, regulations, policies, etc.
